**This comprehensive foundation degree covers all aspects of equine management, giving you the skills to run your own business or study further.**<br/><br/>The foundation degree in equine training and management is a vocational course, enabling you to learn about the equine industry through a mix of classroom-based learning and practical sessions. Youll gain the necessary management skills for careers with horses, with course modules covering topics such as equine anatomy and physiology, equine welfare and husbandry, and organisation and event planning.<br/><br/>By the end of the course, youll be suitably prepared to work in the competition horse industry. Alternatively, you may wish to progress to BSc Hons Equine Training and Management.<br/><br/>The course is offered by one of the universitys partner colleges: Hadlow College in Kent.<br/><br/>**What you should know about this course**<br/>- Work placements are an integral part of FdSc programmes<br/><br/><br/>- Teaching is condensed into 2 to 3 days a week freeing up your time<br/><br/><br/>- Study in a helpful and friendly atmosphere with smaller class-sizes<br/><br/><br/>- 84% of our graduates progress into either employment or further study.<br/>
