Law (Extended) LLB

**Our extended law degree starts with a foundation year to prepare you for degree-level learning. You go to study the same modules offered on the three-year LLB course.**<br/><br/>You will study essential areas of legal knowledge such as public law, land law, equity and trusts, contract law, criminal law and tort law. In your final year, you choose from a range of specialist modules, including commercial law, intellectual property law, financial services law, and international law.<br/><br/>With links to a range of legal, and related, employers in London, youll have - as a law student - access to a range employability events, including talks and networking opportunities. You can also apply to assist volunteer lawyers on real cases at the universitys Legal Advice Centre or apply to assist with the Innocence Project London.<br/><br/>**Complete your law degree at Greenwich - and get a US law degree in just 15 extra months**<br/><br/>Graduates of University of Greenwich law degreeshave a fantastic opportunity to progress on to the JD programme (Juris Doctor - the American law degree) or LLM programme with our partners at Mitchell Hamline School of Law (MHSL), in Minnesota, USA.<br/><br/>This pioneering agreement between the two universities, means that our graduates can complete their JD programme in only 15 months rather than the full three years.<br/><br/>Mitchell Hamline School of Law is also offering up to 50% scholarships (depending on the student application) to Greenwich graduates.<br/><br/>For further information please contact law@gre.ac.uk.<br/><br/>**What you should know about this course**<br/>- The LLB Hons Law (Extended) course includes an entry year to help students access degree study in this subject with a lower entry tariff<br/><br/><br/>- This is a Qualifying Law Degree, as recognised by the Bar Standards Board<br/><br/><br/>- The LLB is designed for the arrival of the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) in 2021<br/><br/><br/>- Apply to assist volunteer lawyers on real cases at the university’s Legal Advice Centre or apply to assist with the Innocence Project London<br/><br/><br/>- Our links with employers in London, through our Law Advisory Forum, include law firms, barristers’ chambers and financial institutions.<br/>
