Civil engineering is one of the oldest engineering fields and it impacts all aspects of our daily lives. From mega infrastructure to water transfer schemes, you’ll have the chance to make a difference in a way that is important to you. <br/><br/>Within our civil engineering subject area, our degree programmes share the same first year of study, so you can leave your options open until the start of your second year. <br/><br/>In your third year, you can secure an industrial placement in the UK or abroad.
