The university’s Careers and Employability Service team are qualified advisors who offer support on a range of topics such as CV writing, assessment centre techniques, and interview prep.

Students who aspire to run their own business can find support from the Enterprise Team. The team have business experience and offer one-to-one guidance, workshops, and access to start-up funds.

Students can also access the on-campus ActiveHud gym and sports facilities at a discounted price; access to additional Kirklees Active Leisure centres is also included in the membership cost. Active Hud also run free Social Sport sessions, which are a great way to stay active, take a break from your studies and meet new people – no previous experience is required and all equipment is provided for free.
