The film industry often also requires the expertise of a professional graphic designer. <br/><br/>You’ll be learning from the best, as the University of Huddersfield has been rated Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2023. Our teaching staff also rank in the top three in England for the proportion who hold doctorates (HESA 2022). <br/><br/>You’ll study industry-standard professional design packages and various components of graphic design, including: <br/>• typography <br/>• layout <br/>• packaging <br/>• branding <br/>• advertising <br/>• user experience design. <br/><br/>You’ll be challenged to experiment with ideas, take risks and consider how to apply your graphic design knowledge and skills to address the needs of the creative industries. <br/><br/>You can participate in an optional supervised work placement in your area of interest in your third year.
