On our Midwifery Studies BSc(Hons) degree, you’ll learn how to provide individualised care for the mother and baby throughout pregnancy, labour, childbirth and the early days of parenthood. You’ll be encouraged to build your communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll learn from experienced midwives, via a blend of on-campus theory and clinical skill simulation, as well as gaining real-world experience via a range of placements.

UCAS Tariff
from a maximum of three Level 3 qualifications including an A Level Biological Science (Biology or PE), or Social Science (Psychology or Sociology) and Health and Social Care at a minimum grade B. Alternatively, a Distinction in BTEC Level 3 National Diploma/Subsidiary Diploma/National Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care, Applied Human Biology, Applied Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Science ,Forensics and Applied Psychology, a Level 3 Applied Diploma/Extended Certificate in Medical Science at a minimum Grade B/Distinction or a Level 3 AAQ Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care, Applied Science, Human Biology or Medical Science at a minimum Distinction/Grade B is acceptable. In addition, you must have GCSE English Language or English Literature and Maths at grade 4 or above, or grade C or above if awarded under the previous GCSE grading scheme, or Ofqual regulated Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English.
