This course is for musicians who want to develop across songwriting, performance, and music production without narrowing their creative focus. Over three years, you’ll grow into a versatile, professional artist, with creating original music at the heart of your learning. You’ll study in a School recognised internationally for excellence, where creativity, experimentation and collaboration are central.
You’ll explore popular music practice through live performance, studio recording, composition, arranging, artist development, and production techniques. Learning is delivered through interactive workshops, masterclasses, and project-based study, allowing you to refine your creative voice while developing strong technical skills. Teaching is informed by staff with extensive professional experience across performance, songwriting, production, technology, and industry practice.
Collaboration is fundamental to the course. You’ll work closely with students across the Performing Arts, including engineers, session musicians, collaborative songwriters, artists, and theatre practitioners, gaining experience that reflects real-world creative industries and building confidence as an adaptable practitioner.
