On our BA (Hons) History course we’ll give you the in-depth knowledge and skills you need to become a historian.

* You’ll get to take on the Community History Project, which involves working on a live project brief with a real client.

What you'll do
* We’re focused on giving you employable skills - our Community History Project and work placements combine independent research, critical thinking and project management.
* There are three strands to this degree: British and Irish History; World History; and Heritage. You can tailor your studies around the subjects you’re particularly interested in.
* You can support the international dimension of your History degree by learning a language or travelling abroad, with awards and bursaries available through the University’s Worldwise learning Centre.
