Particular strengths include:<br/><br/><br/>- Mediterranean prehistory, in particular Greece and Italy<br/><br/><br/>- medieval and post-medieval archaeology in Britain and north-western Europe<br/><br/><br/>- the archaeology of standing buildings<br/><br/><br/>- the study of archaeological materials, ancient technology and production<br/><br/><br/>We work closely with the British Geological Survey and University Nanoscale and Microscale Research Centre, where students benefit from using the specialist facilities.<br/><br/>You are also welcome to join the activities and events of our research centres.
