These courses aim to develop skills, in collaboration with the Institute of Mental Health, such as assessment, management, intervention, treatment and evaluation.<br/><br/>Youll apply your knowledge to practice while on placement in forensic environments and experience interventions with children and adults in community and secure settings.<br/><br/>We have three versions of this course:<br/><br/>**Forensic and Criminology Psychology MSc (by Research)**<br/><br/>A one to two year course which fulfils Stage 1 of BPS professional training in forensic psychology allowing you to enter Stage 2.<br/><br/>**Forensic Psychology Top Up DForenPsy**<br/><br/>A two to four year fast track doctorate programme for those who have already completed Stage 1 of their training.<br/><br/>**Forensic Psychology Full DForenPsy**<br/><br/>The full programme including both Stage 1 and 2 of the BPS diploma which can be taken over three to six years.<br/><br/>This programme is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).<br/><br/>The MSc (by Reseach) confers eligibility to apply for BPS chartered membership.<br/><br/>The DForenPsy confers eligibility to apply for both HCPC registration and BPS chartered membership.
