This Master’s course explores the development of financial technology, its use in forensic analysis, and its application in digitalised business processes to help prepare you for your career in FinTech. <br/><br/>On the course youll explore fundamental principles and emerging trends in forensic technology and economics, develop your understanding of how financial markets work, and uncover key theories for our digital economy. Youll access our University Bloomberg suites, where youll use industry-standard analytical tools and software throughout the course to build the skills youll use in the workforce.<br/><br/>Youll graduate ready for a range of careers across the technologically driven finance sector, and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience with tools that analyse and visualise financial data. <br/><br/>**Course highlights**<br/><br/><br/>- Use industry-standard Bloomberg terminals to monitor and analyse financial market data movements<br/><br/><br/>- Investigate emerging trends in forensic technology and economics<br/><br/><br/>- Learn how FinTech is developed and used in forensic analysis <br/><br/><br/>- Build your finance and business knowledge, with a focus on financial technology <br/><br/><br/>- Learn from staff with experience in industry<br/><br/><br/>**Careers and opportunities**<br/><br/>When you graduate with this MSc Financial Technology Masters, youll have the skills and knowledge you need to make an impact in the financial sector. <br/><br/>Whether youre already working in financial services and banking or looking to start your career, youll have the understanding and experience you need to stand out in the workplace. <br/><br/>Youll have experience of data analytics and industry software, and have the flexibility and transferable skills to succeed across the finance and accounting industries.<br/><br/>Depending on your interests you could become a financial analyst, work with FinTech or RegTech companies, or pursue Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) qualification.<br/><br/>**How youll spend your time**<br/>We recognise that youll probably be juggling more demands when you do your Masters degree, as you may be working or you may have family responsibilities.<br/><br/>Well give you as much indication here as we can of how much time youll need to be on campus and how many hours you can expect to spend in self-directed study, but please note that these indications are always subject to change.
