Professional accreditation
The Architects Registration Board (ARB) has prescribed BSc (Hons) Architecture as a Part 1 course under the Architects Act 1997 until December 2028 (after this, normal practice is that accreditation is reviewed periodically). The course is also validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA); formal recognition that our course achieves the undergraduate-level standards needed to prepare students for the professional practice of architecture.

In recognition of the excellent preparation that the Extended Project Qualification provides to students for University study, we now include achievement in the EPQ as part of a formal offer. Eligible applicants would receive two offers, our usual offer plus an alternative offer of a B in the EPQ and one grade lower in their A level subjects
