You will start by completing a foundation year, which provides well-structured support, allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge before continuing onto the three year degree programme.<br/><br/>The BSc (Hons) Health, Wellbeing and Social Care Management course is a gateway to a variety of careers in the health and social care sector, from working with individuals to managing people. You will gain a firm foundation of knowledge, skills and principles that will prepare you for employment in your chosen health and social care setting. You’ll learn about all aspects of the service user’s journey through health and social care agencies, considering the law, policy, research and practice that influences their experiences. Getting out of the classroom and into the work place is a key part of your learning, so there are work placements throughout the course.<br/><br/>During the Health, Wellbeing and Social Work course, you will gain essential research skills and the ability to interpret legislation, theories and models to inform ideas and generate person-centred outcomes. Our students benefit from excellent academic and pastoral support, as well as being taught by research-active staff who have strong partnerships with health and social care sectors.
