The BA (Hons) TV and Film: Prop Making course at Coleg y Cymoedd offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills within the area of production and performance. Situated within close proximity to Wolf Studios, BBC Roath Lock and Dragon Studios, you will be ideally placed to develop a rewarding and challenging career in a well-equipped workshops and professional environment. <br/><br/>Building on the success of its predecessors, (HND Creative Production Arts and BA Hons Top-up) the course has been able to forge strong links within the Film and TV sector, locally here in Wales and throughout the UK. Partnerships with key stakeholders such as ‘Screen Alliance Wales’, continue to provide students with work placement opportunities and entry points to an exciting and rewarding industry.<br/><br/>During the course you will build and develop a wide range of practical and technical understanding, working with materials and processes employed within the industry, such as sculpting, moulding/casting and metal fabrication. Practical skills will be supported by high levels of contextual and historical understanding, underpinned by research, theory and analysis.
