These include:<br/><br/>-5G/6G Innovation Centre<br/>-Advanced Technology Institute<br/>-Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing<br/>-Surrey Space Centre.<br/><br/>This means you’ll learn about solving real-world problems from highly experienced academics who are experts in their fields.<br/><br/>You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in our award-winning Professional Training placements programme, which prepares students for roles in a variety of technology-based sectors. <br/><br/>**What you will study**<br/>Our BEng and MEng courses produce engineers with the skills required to work at the forefront of electrical engineering, power and control.<br/><br/>You’ll discover the latest developments in electrical and electronic engineering through high-quality teaching and our laboratory, fabrication and 3D printing facilities.<br/><br/>Following a common first year in electrical science and electronics, you’ll study specialist topics, including electrical machines, power electronics, power engineering, renewable energy generation and control engineering.<br/><br/>You can apply to study for either a BEng or MEng. The MEng builds on the BEng with a masters year and is a direct route to a masters qualification. Depending on your progress, you may have the option to switch to a BEng or MEng during your studies.
