West Lothian College

Very clean and comfortable facilities to be in, offering free breakfast and free lunches for those who need it. The lecturers are great, full of knowledge and good laugh. The course is very well structured and allows to progress into Napier after the HND level. The social life out with the college are the sports clubs such as rugby, football and basketball. Alongside other things such as events in the college always letting people know what is on. Accommodation within the college is not there for students however this college's primary incentives aren't generally to accommodate student as it is very commutable for locals and even people from Glasgow or Edinburgh areas. If accommodation is needed to stay over a couple nights, there is a highly rated and inexpensive Travelodge, two minute walk away.

Year 2 at college. Studied beauty therapy last year. Studying HNC fashion makeup this year, I look forward to going on to do my HND makeup next year. College has been a great opportunity opening so many doors for me, making lots of new friends and building skills and confidence

A strong sense of belonging at this college because all of the staff are welcoming to students. Great support because it's a more personal experience compared to a large university. Overall positive experiences due to the care from all around the college.

Excellent facilities, large library for all students to study and the classrooms are perfect for each field of study. Highly recommend this college. Large sports area and great staff! Such a welcoming environment love the college!dont haven a bad thing to say about this college

The course allows you to learn so much more about you and others and get the chance to see what it’s really like to be in the health sector environment. Lectures are all lovely and cheery, make you want to come every week and enjoy your time in the college. The lectures make the course easier and encourage you to do your best! :)

Only at college on a Friday not much to say here.

Other students should just be themselves and have a good mindset for the years you study, the course isn’t too hard and I’m sure everyone will enjoy themselves, everyone who has a positives attitude towards their learning will find the course so much more easier and interesting

Don't get me wrong I love the college as a whole but one of my lectures is just difficult to work with, she is never specific about what you need to know for assessments and I'm having to re-assess because she wasn't clear on what I had to fix, other than this I love the college I met some of my now closes friends there and my other lectures are exceptional at there jobs but i wouldn't recommend doing this course here unless you want to be up at 1 in the morning crying over not knowing what you are doing

Most of people were just awesome, just great. All the students, just brilliant. Supporting staff good. Teachers too, good. However, I had some racism/xenophobia, from the teachers; clearly not happy with my presence. No witnesses of course to these events, and not very malicious, but I remember it very well today, even though years had passed. So yeah, a great place, but...
