Education, Year 2

(4.5)·By Kelli A·Education / Teacher Training· Oct 2018
Love it. 2 days a week at university, 2 days in work placement and a study day (much needed). We were the first set of students in the new university centre, i love the separate space from college students. Only wish we had hot food catering instead of going to college for hot food.

When I stated it was welcoming , nice to meet people , getting to know my surroundings. It was great ! Got a tour around the whole college , got took to all the cafes where they are , got told were the closest toliet is and where lockers ect.. are. It was great ! Got a tour around the whole college , got took to all the cafes where they are , got told were the closest toliet is and where lockers ect.. are. We have extra lesson to catch up on work , also practical lessons to start trying our own things. There is a lot of places round like if you had an 2 hour break in between maccies of 20 mins down road , a Tesco 2 mins down street. Maybe listen on introduction day , don’t miss anything out .. also bring stuff to write in always take prontos of homework or what needs to be remembered

So far it has been excellent, a lot of work. However i have been able to manage it, 3/4 of my teachers are lovely and fair. I enjoy majority of my classes

Building\/Construction, Year 1

(3)·By Liam H·Building / Construction· Mar 2019
It was very entertaining and fun, it is a really good atmosphere around constantly and I really enjoyed myself. However it was very busy everywhere you went but I very much enjoyed myself

I think it is very good as they accommodate to everyone’s needs and everyone is very helpful on campus if you were to need any help with anything. The facilities/ accommodation is very standard in terms of there not necessarily being anything special about it however that doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong with ignoring either

The facilities are of a good standard based on there need to accommodate for everyone. The classrooms for example are very clean and well kept and there are only a certain amount of people in each class to help with learning, the whole campus is generally very clean and well kept and I don’t have any real complaints with anything

The course is very much listening and trying to take everything in rather than hands on work, the lectures however are very long but usefull at the same time and I can say that I have learnt a lot during my time on the course

It isn’t like a normal city in terms of how busy it is generally, however it is something I am not used to and took time to adapt to due to me not coming from a city. But I have enjoyed the experience and generally the city life is very good.

If a student was to study my course I would tell them that it may not be what they expect, it is a very hands off experience rather than hands on and it involves a lot of listening and taking notes. However if that suits them then I would say that it is a very enjoyable experience as you meet great characters who are willing to help you if needed
