We also have strong links with business and industries in the region to make sure our students develop skills that will increase their employability. Plans to build a world-class sixth form college in Bury St Edmunds were recently given the go-ahead. The new college is a collaboration between the West Suffolk College-sponsored Suffolk Academies Trust, including Suffolk One in Ipswich and local upper schools, King Edward VI School and Sybil Andrews Academy in Bury St Edmunds.<br><br>The college aims to replicate the success of Suffolk One, an outstanding sixth form college, and offering more than 40 A-Level courses to 16-19-year-olds from across the whole of West Suffolk.<br><br>Curriculums will be timetabled to allow students to study high-level specialist vocational qualifications at West Suffolk College alongside their A Levels if appropriate.
