We believe in engaging with our students as young adults in a supportive and encouraging environment and we aim to give the best opportunity to develop, grow and become passionately involved in their own education.<br><br>As a partner College of the University of Suffolk, we offer more than 40 foundation and honours degrees at the College across a wide range of subjects. We also have strong links with business and industries in the region to make sure our students develop skills that will increase their employability. Plans to build a world-class sixth form college in Bury St Edmunds were recently given the go-ahead. The new college is a collaboration between the West Suffolk College-sponsored Suffolk Academies Trust, including Suffolk One in Ipswich and local upper schools, King Edward VI School and Sybil Andrews Academy in Bury St Edmunds.<br><br>The college aims to replicate the success of Suffolk One, an outstanding sixth form college, and offering more than 40 A-Level courses to 16-19-year-olds from across the whole of West Suffolk.<br><br>Curriculums will be timetabled to allow students to study high-level specialist vocational qualifications at West Suffolk College alongside their A Levels if appropriate.
