The Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies’ international reputation for conducting cutting-edge quality research makes Aberystwyth an ideal place to pursue research. The Department’s postgraduate community is viewed as a key component of the Departments research and teaching excellence.<br/><br/>The range of topics and methodologies employed is exceptionally wide, covering textual, archival, historical, practice-based, empirical and philosophical studies. Research projects include work in English and Welsh, and across the whole range of theatre and drama, performance studies, scenography, media and communication, and film and television studies. <br/><br/>The Department offers opportunities for full-time or part-time MPhil study.
