Highfield Campus

Highfield Campus

Highfield Campus is the main campus and the heart of the university. Southampton has 8 campuses in the UK and Malaysia, with 6 in Southampton, 1 in Winchester and 1 in Malaysia. It’s home to their biggest library, Students’ Union (SUSU), the Student Hub, spaces for faith and reflection, a health centre, a shop and endless places to study or catch up with friends.

Southampton are investing £600m to update their campuses, to make sure that all students have the best possible opportunities and experience. They’ve just opened a new extension to their sports facilities, part of a £50m investment.

Even if your subject has a specialist campus, it’s likely you’ll have lectures and spend time at Highfield Campus.

Southampton's UK campuses are well connected by public transport, and some are within easy walking distance.

Tuition Fees, Scholarships and Bursaries

Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for students with a 'home' status are subject to any conditions imposed by the government; the latest fee information is available on Southampton's website.

Tuition fees for international students will vary depending on the course. The University is one of only a few UK universities that offer international students the same fixed fee for each year of their course. Students pay the same fixed fee for each year of their programme, except for programmes where a combination of clinical and non-clinical fees applies.

In these instances, the non-clinical fixed fee will apply for years one and two, and the clinical fixed fee will apply for the remainder of the programme. As with other UK medical courses, these fees may be subject to an additional charge for clinical placement in the NHS, decided by the UK government. Students starting any University-run Foundation Year will pay less for their Foundation Year than for the rest of their integrated degree.
