Immersive & Interactive Media Design MA

<strong>Immersive & interactive media design examines how audience experiences can be enhanced through an expanded reality. The programme considers how these experiences are created through the use of technology, scenography and storytelling & narrative design.</strong> <br/><br/>You will gain hands-on experience of analysing, designing, developing and realising projects for a range of performance genres, production scales and spaces. Depending on your eventual career direction, you may opt to explore a range of design areas or focus on a particular area of specialism. All the modules are industry focused with opportunities for student to engage in placement activity as part of your research.<br/><br/>This vocational programme will support students to develop their own artistic approach and design style, as well as equipping them with transferable skills such as critical reflection, communication, adaptability, problem solving, teamwork and leadership.<br/><br/>During the programme, students will benefit from the opportunity to collaborate with peers on other courses, working together on shared modules and projects. Throughout the programme you will be supported by our experienced staff team, extensive industry partners and masterclasses from established industry professionals. <br/><br/>The programme builds on Academy of Live Technologys close relationships with the Live Events Industry and offers an unrivalled opportunity for you to engage in live projects and develop plans for new creative opportunities coupled with a higher level of academic study and learning.
