Job Prospects

Our courses are focussed on your employability and we offer tailored careers and employability support that starts from day one – and continues after graduation. We also have an on-campus recruitment agency who work with the university and local employers to find paid temporary work to fit around your studies or to secure permanent work after graduation.
The Graduate Outcomes Survey ranks ARU in the top 10 of mainstream universities in the country, for the proportion of UK undergraduates in employment 15 months after graduating.*

The data relates to UK-domiciled graduates who attended a mainstream higher education institution in England and graduated in 2017/18. A mainstream institution is defined as any non-specialist institution with more than 500 students.

When it comes to staying fit, we have campuses on-site in Chelmsford and Cambridge as well as sports clubs for those passionate about competing or more informal sessions and classes in yoga, badminton and more.
