Drama, Year 2

(5)·By Lisa K·Drama· Jul 2021
It was really good. We got to meet most of our year group and the activities were really were planned and put together by the social union. I don't live in Student Accommodation I live in a private flat share but I enjoy it a lot. I go to Urdang Academy which is a separate campus but the facilities are really great and we have lots of studio space/practice rooms. We have a few communal areas which are well used and a total of three buildings which suits the number of students well. The lecturers are working professionals for the most part which gives them great experience to pass on to us whilst training. The course is really well split to prepare us for a professional career in the performing industry. I love London so it's really great but I can be quite full on and busy at times. I enjoy being so close to central London as there is always something going on.

It was amazing! One of the best times of my life! Great location, very nice rooms, good people and overall very good experience Library very cosy, however busy during certain times and hard to find space to study. Staff very nice and helpful. Lecturers very passionate. People very nice and helpful. City life was really good!! A lot of greenery and river which make me want to spend a lot of time outside. Good pubs/clubs with great people and stuff. Everything was close as well

It's been brilliant so far! Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. We have events every day of the week to help international students settle in. We watch movies, do karaoke, and have drink nights! The location of the campus is close to most of the good shopping centers, which helps in our daily groceries. We also have the city Centre in about a ten minute walk distance from the main campus. The accommodation is well maintained and perfect for meeting brilliant students who are just like you. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and always encouraging you to do your best!

It was okay I didn't live on Campus due to the small amount of variety Very good! Library is brilliant and fully accessible which makes uni life and book selection easier. My lectures were really passionate and knowledgeable about there subject which helped manage my own work. Very welcoming and full of shops

My university experience so far has been great. The lecturers and seminar teachers are really helpful and good at teaching, which makes the experience better. I like living away from home as I have been able to become more independent and learn things I wouldn't from being at home and it gives me the opportunity to live with my friends which is great.

Nursing, Third Year

(5)·By Maria E·Nursing· Oct 2018
One word, amazing. The staff are so supportive, they have looked after me in both personal and university life. The course, I have learnt so much and feel prepared for placement. They support me through that, no matter what happens they are there with an email, phone call or on shift ready to give me a hug. They are amazing and I love ARU.

Nursing, Graduate

Freshers week was very exciting as I was looking forward to studying nursing and reach the goal of graduating and becoming a newly qualified adult nurse. I am currently an existing resident at a private rent house and I feel more at home in comparison to the main student halls/accomodation I feel like all facilities from library, student union, placement and mental health facilities are very accomodating and has gave me the help and assistance I needed at the time I got into contact with them Able to get necessary cover teachers who have a related speciality on specific lectures and there is always someone to help you with placement or assignments There were access to everyday things like shops/malls and leisure as this is essential as part of something outside studying life

Other, Year 1

having only been here for a few weeks i already am feeling supported and when having a discussion, nothing is seen as a stupid question. i have food that both students and staff are friendly and approachable, they all know what it's like to be a Year 1 and they empathise. Having fibromyalgia I was worried that it would effect my ability to do my course but when speaking to staff I have constantly been offered solutions not problems and been told how to get the help that i need without judgement.

Was so fun, to be out meeting new people, felt so honoured to be part of such an amazing unity. I live at home so top notch Pretty standard, good though I am so inlove with my course, find it so interesting, applying to police and would love to endeavour on a career as a criminal psychologist Well first year I was in Nottingham, and it was so so good, so different to usual life
