Freshers was really fun. The course dove in straight away and made sure we were busy. Days weren't too long so we could still have an active night life. The accommodation is all really new and modern. The rooms are good sizes and all ensuite which I think is great for privacy. The flats all have a good number of people in (6/8) so you will definitely make friends with someone. Student union is very communicative and have a lot of cool competitions and opportunities. They keep a good communication between students and the university as a whole. The campus is small but cozy and the social areas are big. The lectures are very informative and give you a good knowledge of the contemporary art world in general which I've found has helped me through the whole course. There are so many workshops which give you the knowledge of what you can do in the space and the confidence to ask the specialist technicians for help. There are so many shops and clubs and bars it's hard to chose where to go! Although some people might think it's a place for old people, the centre of Bournemouth is definitely for students! Being so close to the beach and a town is great because you get all the urban opportunities with the bonus of fresh air and a place to relax outside.

Freshers week was the best week at university. Made lots of new friends and the events were so good. Had the best accommodation there. Had everything you would need and super clean. The facilities had everything you needed. Course helped me learn a lot and there were various lectures. Best city life possible, lots of events and so much to do.

Really fun week. Full of fairs and advice and help for first time uni students. Definitely a good atmosphere and encouraged friendships that I still have I stayed in Madeira Halls and it was one of the best halls in Bournemouth. It had friendly staff, great spaces and open common room for everyone to get together. I always take full advantage of our library! Has so many books and full of useful tools! Student union is always helpful if you have any queries, I've never experienced any problems with AUB facilities. My course is good because it allows you freedom to explore whatever you want, the staff are always helpful. The facilities and tools within our course such as siso and sculpture lab are amazing. They really help to excel in your creative process, allowing to access to materials that others don't have. Bournemouth town is beautiful, the beach is definitely a plus. Xmas in Bournemouth brings everyone from all different places, it's a tourist town through and through! The student life is so much fun because of this!

Freshers week was very fun, lots of activities to do and you can try out the clubs for free before you decide to join for the year. Even during covid they have put on events online to help new students get to know each other. The accommodation is very nice. Good sized rooms and a sense of community. The rooms have ensuite bathrooms which are a good size too. The library is a brilliant place to study as there are large tables to study with friends, sofas for more casual studying, lots of computers if that is more your area. The range of books for each subject is extensive and they are always open to adding more. The canteen has a nice atmosphere with different sized tables and really yummy food. The lecturers are there to help and this really shows as if you have any questions they will happily answer them. There is a lot of contact time and they endeavour to talk to everyone. Bournemouth is a nice place to live. It isn't too busy and the Christmas light festival is a wonderful experience to get you in the festive mood.

The freshers week was amazing. I attended it back in 2016 when I was doing my first degree and I met a lot of people who are my best friends now. It was great for me as an introvert! I used to live at the Bath Road halls. They were new in 2016, and absolutely amazing. Spotless and only with a few students. The studios were amazing and still miss them to this day. The library is beautiful and very easy to access. There is a wide variety of books in all fields which is brilliant.Classrooms and other workshop areas have always kept health and safety standards. All spaces have always been clean and an absolute pleasure to work in them. With the current covid situation, the fact that the lectures are recorded and can be accessed at any point. I do miss physical lectures but I currently prefer the online ones as I used to struggle with the physical ones that were taking place late in the evening. I live in Bournemouth. It is a brilliant city with a lot of students. I feel very safe and enjoy living there. The city is very student friendly and there are beautiful places nearby to go on day trips.

It was really good and very useful. The accommodation is very handy and convenient. I pay very little for where I stay and I am very content. Very clean , the staff are always so nice and helpful. The PowerPoint presentations were very good because it made it all a lot more visual. I really like it personally and City life is definitely for me. Just stay focused and don’t go out every weekend because it makes everything so much easier

It was unreal, meeting all kind of new people. Just having the time of my life with not a care in the world Its was incredible, never had such experience before. It was all new and felt so free. Made my first year so good. Everything was more than what I expected, everyone was so helpful and helped me get to where I am today They were all very supportive and gave me the right advice when I needed it although sometimes I didn't see it right away but it all makes so much sense now The city life was so good that I'm still living in that city even after I finished uni
