University Summary

Aston is the University for business and the professions. For the last 10 years, we have ranked consistently in the top 10 for graduate employability. And over the last decade, we have even beaten Oxford and Cambridge universities on getting graduates top positions in the UK and around the world.

This is due to our academic rigour (ranked in top 30 in all UK league table) and highly regarded professional placement year.

Currently, almost 75% of Aston students take a placement every year (either in the UK or abroad), gaining valuable experience and a serious edge over their competition. They earn on average £15K too. Our target is that 100% of our students take a professional placement year by 2020.

Our students are also very happy. Aston is ranked 15th in the UK for student satisfaction, with a National Student Survey score of 90%.
