Sir Tom Cowie Campus
Just a short walk away from City Campus is the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St. Peter’s, which is located on the coast with picturesque riverside views and beautiful beaches on its doorstep.
Business, Law, Tourism, and Education are taught here, as is the main centre for computing and engineering. Sunderland’s Business, Management and Marketing courses are 8th in the UK for Teaching Quality (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025), reflecting their commitment to delivering high-quality education.
The campus is also home to the Media Centre, which includes a cinema, industry-standard TV studios, and the University’s very own radio station, Spark Radio. The National Glass Centre is also at St. Peter’s.
