We are known for our emphasis on practical skills, and this degree will give you extensive practical experience which will complement the theoretical knowledge of this exciting subject. <br/><br/>In Year 4 you’ll have a free range of specialist options – from Broadband Communication Systems to Programmable Logic Controllers – so you won’t be tied to follow one specific path.<br/><br/>Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.<br/><br/>‘Placement Year’ and International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time.
