Bath Spa Uni was the best pick for me!

(5)·By Josh A·Design· Jun 2023
Bath Spa University has been the best for me as the schedules are very loose which means I get to spend more time doing assignments and chilling with mates. The campus is a breathe of fresh air as there is alot of greenary and barely any roads & cars. The lecturers are understanding and caring. My overall experience has been a very positive one for sure.

English, Year 3

(5)·By Charlotte R·English Studies· Oct 2018
My three years at Bath Spa University have been some of the best years of my life! It's given me so many opportunities inside and outside uni for my teaching career and I've met so many amazing people and learnt so many life lessons along the way. There's so many societies to choose from and the English Literature lecturers are so enthusiastic and are real experts in their fields!

The nightlife in Bath is great too, there's a club for whatever kind of music you're into and there's a huge array of quirky bars and pubs. There's something for everyone at Bath Spa!

My review of Bath Spa University

(5)·By Daisy G·Criminology· Jun 2023
I love this university, I recommend it to anyone I can. The on-site accommodation is very well maintained and is at the higher end of student accommodation - the learning facilities and lecture rooms are nice, the student union is small but there are regular fun weekly events, the grounds of the university are absolutely stunning - the city of bath is beautiful and has everything a student needs.

Bath Spa

(5)·By Elin K·Drama· Jun 2023
This university offers so many study options and a wide range of extra curricular activities. I am so glad that i chose to go here and would recommend it to anyone. The support they offer here is better than any support i've ever seen any school/college/university offer and the staff have all been amazing. Aswell as the excellent facilities and support the campus is beautiful and there is so much wildlife here. The grounds are well-kept by the staff and you always feel safe where ever you are on campus. There are buses until 3.30am everyday which makes going into town and back after so easy and travel is convenient and fairly priced too. I'm so glad i chose this university

Art / Design, Year 3

(5)·By Freddie K·Art· Jul 2021
Freshers was the best time of my life. Made friends for life! The halls of residence I stayed in were very nice. Clean, homely and lively. Would recommend All areas were relatively new if not newly built. Lots of study spaces but also areas to socialise etc Every single person is friendly and willing to help every student. Bath is quiet, but it is very homely and beautiful. Easy to get around too.

Most helpful Uni

(5)·By Halima S·Education / Teacher Training· Jun 2023
As someone that suffers with a lot of anxiety, the support staff were amazing as well as the well-being hub. Bath Spa university continues to care for all students as well as having a nursery on site that supports students.

Great in most places

(5)·By Jasmine B·Film· Jun 2023
I loved the uni it's great the only thing that could be considered bad is there wasn't a massive amount of communication and it's quite far out from the city but theres a bus that drops of in the uni so that's good.
There was good advice but not much of it

Gorgeous setting for a small and friendly campus. The lecturers are so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I had the most fantastic 3 years and would recommend BSU to anyone.

Journalism, Year 2

(5)·By Nabeel M·Journalism· Jul 2021
It was very thrilling and a fun new experience!! Accommodations are very welcoming and homely. All the basic necessities are there and more with wonderful views of the countryside The library is a maze full of endless books sectioned into all sorts of themes and topics! Classrooms are motivating for the work environment and the student union is also very energetic I love the teachers and the different perspective of topics we cover within the journalism subject. Different modules welcome different ideas which are very mind opening. Teachers support and way of teaching to make each individual understand the given subject is very good. City life in bath is quite good! I myself don't really go out for the city life I rather much stay at hone and watch movies. Bristol is also nearby and accessible with much more city life and a lot more multiculturalism

My experience at Bath Spa

(5)·By Orlagh O·Psychology· Jun 2023
Bath Spa has a very pretty and instagramable campus, it's filled with natural beauty and grand buildings. My experience in halls was good - I had a double bed and an en suite. I choose to stay off campus, despite that meaning I had to get the bus to university - I was right next to Lidl and only a 5 min bus ride to the city centre, the campus is quite far from the centre of town. Bath's social life is good for students, it has various clubs and bars and good student discounts - I also felt safe in Bath and it's not as dangerous as other cities. Bristol however has a WAY better social life, you can get a train to bristol which takes 10 minuets, the events there are a lot better and bigger. Regarding the course, I felt lecturers were always helpful and contactable, and you had a good range of modules to choose from.
