Marketing, Year 2

Freshers week was an amazing experience. The college had free pizza and lots of networking opportunities. They even brought in Llamas! I don't stay in the college accommodation, however my friend does and when I visited before COVID the building was clean. The kitchens and bedrooms are also very spacious. The staff are also really friendly! The libraries are amazing. They let you borrow laptops, books and let you print documents. There are also booths so you can study with friends. The student services are reliable and are great at keeping in touch The course is very interesting as it goes into so much more depth than I thought it would. Every single Events lecturer is friendly, extremely flexible and they have made online learning an enjoyable experience It was great! Everything is so accessible and nearby. The nightlife in Glasgow is amazing and there are always Student nights!

Business Studies, Year 1

(4.8)·By Ryan K·Business· Mar 2019
Incredible, got to meet so many knew people and get to know my new class mates. Helped a lot with nerves and well as getting familiar with the campus.

Nice, and easily accessible library with lots of places to chill out and either socialise or to study. Any problems around the college are dealt with quickly. On the other hand gym equipment is poor

Library has many floors and computers, anything you need is at your disposal and can be easily found also with quiet rooms for private study. The gym however is small and not much can be done although is a very good price

With it being a small class the lecturer becomes close to the class making them easily approachable as well as them always having time. This course work is very interesting but requires lots of effort

Being in the center of town in Glasgow, it holds a busy and live atmosphere with bars and clubs in almost every direction. Great way to get to know your class. Glasgow is also a very beautiful city with many cites so see and take in

Come prepared an understandable knowledge of business as it can be thought without. IT and essay writing skills are also required however the course is overall very enjoyable

It was eventful Average but a nice place to stay Library is a great place to study, they also have quiet study rooms and they have a lot of resources. Sports facilities are great and spacious. I gained a lot of knowledge and new skills and techniques in Art and the lecturers are lovely and they have a good teaching style I love the city life. You feel like you are living and thriving and there is a lot to explore in the city!

Business Studies / Management, Year 2

Freshers week was very useful, there were a variety of things to do which would allow us too meet and interact with new people which is amazing especially starting off in 1st year I personally do not live in accommodation however they look very clean and appealing The facilities are very well looked after and clean and I love the library because it has different levels one for group projects and others for your own study and it was very peaceful and easy to work in It was good because my lecturers were really helpful and knew how much to teach and when to let us do our own work and the course itself is very interesting City life was very busy, expensive but really good I got to meet many new people and I also got to find my interests and dislikes

Other Course - Not Listed, Year 1

It was good. I am staying in a private accomodation it’s dobbies point only 5 minute walk away. There is a gym a cinema room study area laundry room and also pool table and ping pong. I love my full time course which is beauty and my evening class of hairdressing this is something that I am eager to learn about. It is a big change compared to living up in the highlands the shops are just down the road and don’t need to travel for it. Beauty is great you get your kit paid for you by bursary which is great as you can practice at home.

Art & Design,

(4.3)·By Heather S·art· Mar 2019
It was interesting. I met some new people who are now my very good friends. Its very nice. Nothing to really complain about. Classrooms are great very organised and it is easy to find everything. The library is so amazing. The course was something that i wanted to try out as i am interested in art and design. It was fun and the lectures were really good. I grew up in glasgow city so i knew where i was going but i never realised how many people from all over travelled to be in glasgow for an education. They should know to only try their best as that is all that is expected.

Business Studies, Year 1

Freshers week was fantastic. There was multiple activists in the college and events outside the college. This helped me settle in and meet loads of new people

The accommodation was good. There was various activities run in class so we could get used to everyone and make friends.

The library is very nice and has 3 floors. It’s easily accessible and has loads of resources. The sports halls are nice and have available equipment for different sports such as badminton, volleyball, basket ball etc. The gym is a bit limited as it’s small and there isn’t much equipment. The cantons serves a variety of tasty food and there is a Costa and Starbucks for whenever you’re needing perked up

The course is good as it’s similar to university courses and it made it more available for people who didn’t do as well I’m school. The lectures are very helpful and will answer any questions and offer advice to help in anyway they can.

The city life is good. Being in the centre of town means it’s very busy and there’s a lively atmosphere around the area. As it’s in town it also has lots of food options or chill out areas during lunches and breaks.

Students shouldn’t worry as everyone is going through the same thing of meeting new people etc. The college help you settle in and just be prepared as it isn’t easy!!

Computer Science, Year 1

I enjoyed it however i wasnt of age so i couldnt have experienced all of it. would of been nice to have more inclusive events as i felt like i was footering about.. I do not currently make use of the colleges accomodation however i have visted some accomodation in the area with it being very clean and modern. I havent made use of the SU bar however the rest of the facilities are great, with the library being vast and having great systems. Theyre fun to attend and i feel like im learning alot from whats being thaught, i like the lectures as they are really accomodating to myself.. Its great, i can go out any time and have fun. from early morning til late in the evening theres always something on. Its alot of hard work, but its never boring. you have to be prepared to put in the required work before having too much fun, as if youre not careful the work can really creep up on you.
