Cleveland College of Art and Design (CCAD)

Going to Cleveland College Of Art & Design has been the best decision of my life. Being surrounded by so many talented design students motivates me to do much better in my own work. I've also been able to do an amazing internship with a trend forecasting company which I would have never done if I didn't go to Cleveland!

Freshers was amazing when I started studying photography! Lots of fun I've breakers and parties Really nice accommodation that's close to the university. Great for meeting new people and very spacious The facilities are state of the art and absolutely brilliant. I couldn't imagine going to any other uni. Everything is built to a high standard The course allows you to be creative and build your skills to help you become a working professional. The lecturers are also working professionals with lots of experience The city is quite small but has lots of little clubs. The neighbouring towns and city's have amazing nightlife though and are great for nights out.

So far I have had anamzing time with lectures meeting new friends and work load , achieved great grades however suffered with lack of a night life

Nothing too special to be honest, I think fresher's is something that's built up to be better than what it actually is. Typical university style accommodations, they are quite sterile and don't feel too homely though I'm on the illustration for commercial application course and we hardly get provided with any materials, it's making my whole course wonder where our tuition fees go Love being there with my friends, they always make it fun. Pretty interesting, especially considering I came from quite a small village

I thought it was really boring as I didnt think there was that much going on tbh I had to private rent a flat so I coukd be at uni Always clean and tidy and up to date with all equipment we need to use They helped me develop on my skills in photography as well as software Horrible and because they're loads of druggies everywhere and people are rude n miserable

It was a good opportunity to meet people but the bars and clubs in Hartlepool aren't good. Including the student union bar. The accommodation had some issues. None of the university's fault though. There were silver fish and the lift broke several times. The facilities are useful, large library and friendly staff. The lectures are very friendly and helpful. The course is interesting and writing my own course for second term is engaging and interesting. I'm not a fan of Hartlepool as it has a lot of dangerous people so I don't feel comfortable out at night.
