Wonderful University

(4)·By Charlie A·Other· Oct 2018
Well, If you are thinking of coming to this uni, you have too! Its different from the rest. I've seen my friends universities and they are nothing compared to this, so stop what you are doing and reply.

I graduated back in 2012, getting my degree with the people are met made my time worthwhile. I lived in halls and its rather different to living at home, its strange at first, doing your own chores and cooking, well sometimes as I love a takeaway aha. Just make the most of your time at this wonderful university.

Postgraduates

(4)·By Philip P·Other· Oct 2018
Cranfield University only offers Postgraduate degrees. This is a very diverse uni, with about a third of the students being foreign. One negative thing is the campus is a little bit isolated.

I was living in halls which are self catered. This was a good experience for me other than the steep price it cost for washing your clothes on campus. The showers however are top notch so you will always be fresh aha.

Cranfild is based in Milton Keynes. Not to far away is an indoor snow ski slope, bowling alleys. One club you have to go to at least one is Oceana. It's epic in there. You won't regret it.

There is a large variety of clubs and societies. I was a member o the Apocalyptic Cous and the ultimate frisbee team. This kept me busy and entertained throughout tmy time hear.

Do your postgrad here at Cranfield

Land and Water Management

(2.8)·By Jerry B·Other· Oct 2018
The university is in the middle of absolutely nowhere and this is not made easier by the appalling public transport that is provided. To get around you ideally need a car which is another cost, most students can not afford to run.

I felt really lonely whilst studying at Cranfield because of the nature of my degree. I feel like there was a lack of support for research students. I wasnt the only one to express this. I wanted more support when selecting my research methods. What is available is normally poor quality. My supervisor was always to busy to meet with me. However, you do have the freedom to do what you want.

The accommodation wasn't good either. The was not a shower in my block just a bath.
