Energy Engineering MSc

Energy Engineering MSc will give you an in-depth understanding of contemporary issues in energy, electrical power grids, renewable generation technologies and sustainability, and will develop your knowledge of experimental and computer modelling techniques for the design of energy systems, such as electricity grids, renewable generation technologies, energy demand, energy storage and transportation systems.

You will study a range of modules, including Data Analytics for Sustainable Energy Systems, Renewable Energy: Generation, Use and Storage, and Electrical Power Systems: Operation and Analysis. The course is informed by research from the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development (IESD) so that you develop industry-relevant and up-to-date knowledge and expertise.

This course is suitable for recent graduates from a range of engineering and physical science backgrounds as well as professionals with relevant industry experience.
