You will be introduced to the psychology of mental health and wellbeing, the psychological basis of clinical disorders, and psychological experiences of living with chronic health conditions.

You will be taught by experts who are carrying out world-leading research in their field. They’ll help you investigate different areas by asking why. Why do mental illnesses occur? Why don’t we exercise as much as we should? And we’ll also ask how. We’ll help you explore the latest methodologies. At the same time, you’ll develop career skills in creativity, critical thinking and communication.

As you discover what influences thoughts and behaviours in clinical and health settings, you’ll be able to test your skills hands-on.
