Film, Year 2

there was a lot of events in the beginning. I got to meet a lot of people and see what I could be doing out of the uni like gyms and dance classes. I don't live in the accommodation but i heard from my friend that it is very spacious and homey. The classrooms are very spacious. My favorite part are the common rooms where we can have a free cup of tea coffee or hot chocolate The good thing about my course is that our tutors are very well experienced. We get to have student assistants who have been in the same spot as us so it is very helpful. I love city life because the busyness is definitely for me. the transport is always good.

Freshers was fun and varied in terms of events and staff were helpful in getting students used to the building and managing work load. I didn't stay in the accommodation myself but I have friends that stayed. Accommodation was clean, there were some issues with rats and mice but the accommodation is owned privately and has nothing to do with the Uni. These problems were rectified by the site themselves at the time. The facilities are quite limited. In third year the intake of the first year was increased and therefore there was limited work space available which can be frustrating as a student living at home because it's not like it's a short journey home to go and work there instead. The internship programme was the best part for me as I've not been selected to take part in a management programme with the same company I did my internship with. Lectures could all be viewed online so if you only had lectures that day you didn't have to go in just for that. Lectures were only 1 hour long which kept us engaged unlike some uni's where they are 3/4 hours long. City life was the best part of the uni because it's in the centre of london which made the social aspect of uni easy

It was lovely and very welcoming I met a lot of lovely people. I haven't stayed in the accommodations at Pearson college London so I wouldn't be able to tell you much We had access to library services online as well as in university, we hosted an e-sports society at Pearson where we could keep active and stay healthy. Our classes were quite small so when having lectures it felt quite welcoming rather then over bearing, as well as having lectures we also worked interactively through having lectures which was quite nice. Living in London is busy so it definitely was quite a rush to get use to however it was very lively at the same time as there's lots to do in London

Being a small uni they tried to bring everyone together as much as possible and during lockdown did lots of fun online events. Think it would have been better if they mention more stuff in class regarding events It's basic London student accommodation, not bad. I stayed at home while going to the uni Great online library, free tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Nice bright classrooms and good areas to chill out/study in. Lots of different student unions. Nearly all the tutors have first hand knowledge of running their own business and they can use those examples to relate to the course content. Lectures are precise and not dragged out. Growing up in London going to a London uni has made me enjoy the city even more and find new places I wouldn't of known about before plus student discount don't hurt

Not your typical uni. We had fun activities like a boat party and ballie ballerson. Tufnell Park is the recommendation. It's just classic halls! Being a small uni their wasn't much facility's. We had a online library which was very helpful in the lockdown. We were taught by industry professionals. This meant they had real life experience in the subject area, not just studied it. London is great but super expensive for a student.

It was very good. It was inclusive and welcoming. It was encouraging and informative about upcoming years. They do not provide accommodation, but have agreements with student housing in the area. 50 percent of the students live at home and commute. Great facilities. Treated like an office, and like a work environment, and it feels like one. Free coffee machines. Good lecturers. The courses prepare you for real working life. Great! London is a great city, and the uni fits in with the city feel.

There were a few nights out organised but because the uni is so small they werent really worth going to. I'd give it a 3/10. I didn't stay in halls so I can't comment. Library - is only online which is frustrating because the search function is awful. It would be helpful if there was a selection of physical books. The size of the library/working areas isn't big so when it's busy the uni feels more like a sixth form common room. Student Union is non existent Small seminar groups means lots of f2f with tutors. Lecturers and modules vary on how good they are depending on what you choose. On average they are engaging but there's a lot of room for improvemnt London is a brilliant city to be a student in (apart from the cost). There's so much to do, the multiculturalism and vibrancy is refreshing. Obviously it's expensive to go out which is a major vice.

It was very expensive, I made some great friends which is the main thing, but the events were poorly managed and the venues were tacky. There are no halls. You either commute from home or rent privately, PBS are closely connected with Tufnell Park Accommodation, so a lot of PBS students stay there We have an online library which is very useful as you can access it anywhere, my favourite facility on campus is the free coffee/hot chocolate, there are lots of places to sit quietly however it can get busy in peak times. All of the lecturers either own their own businesses or have worked closely alongside huge companies. You can gain so much knowledge from a 5 minute chat. London born and bred, I love my city, studying in the business capital of Europe will pay off indefinitely because of all the opportunities, loads of cool places to eat, drink and club, downside is that it is expensive. Transport links are elite in London, we love the nighttube and night bus after an absolute bender.

It was good I got to meet a lot of new people that I am still friends with years later. However I have heard that at other unis the freshers week is better. Pearson college did not offer any accommodation and the advice they'd given was poor. This meant I had to find accommodation on my own which was proven quite difficult as I was moving to another city. Facilities were limited, the entire library is online and there isn't any sports facilities at all. The online library did have all the information you needed and was easy to navigate but personally I prefer real books. Some of the tutors were fantastic and had real on the job experience, because of this they helped convey the purpose of the lectures and provide context. However this wasn't true for all the tutors. I love London and now live here because of the time and experiences I've had in London. It's especially great for young students as there's so much to do.
