My university experience has been alot better thab i thought it would be. My lecturers are patient and understanding. They teach well and the friends I've met there I'm hoping are going to be lifelong friends.

It's incredibly hard work but it's worth it. The lecturers are lovely and inspirational. It's a chance to find who you are and be who you want to be with no one telling you how to do it.

English, Third Year

(4.5)·By Michelle G·English Studies· Oct 2018
My course has high teaching standards and an interesting and varied (compared to other universities) curriculum. The location is beautiful on the Penryn Campus of the university. However the library is too small so there is never space to sit on busy days.

Nursing, Year 1

Welcoming, informative, guiding. Basic needs, spacious, practical and comfortable. I felt relaxed and assured of my own privacy. Above average, modern, everything we needed and set out comfortably for conversations on topic. They would assure that you were following and understanding, preventing you from falling behind and being up to date. Good night life, kind people, all friendly and nice environment. Expect a lot of work, but this is anywhere. Ideally have experience / a qualification in this as it’s a good jump start.

Exeter is such a student focussed place, from the nightlife to the curriculum. The teachers are super willing to help individual students with any problem they may have and the extracurricular opportunities are astoundingly diverse and thorough

Art / Design, Year 2

(3.8)·By Holly P·Art· Jul 2021
Fun, I made good friends, did lots of art! I don't have accommodation at Exeter college Good facilities, the computers can be slow in some buildings. I was challenged to try new things, and have learned a lot. Very busy but fun because ei could hang out with my friends and do quite a lot of activities l.

Mathematics, Year 1

Night life is poor, but it's a beautiful place and there are soooo many nice people here! Because the campus is quite small the classes are more intimate, you get a more one on one feeling and I prefer it!

Business Studies / Management, Year 2

(2.8)·By Jess T·Business· Jul 2021
I loved freshers week. I met a lot of new people and made myself familiar with the campus. For me, the accommodation was fabulous. We were catered for and the rooms were lovely. The gym is unbelievable and the forum is brand new and high tech. My course has so many people on it which makes any interaction with a lecturer difficult. The city is lovely and old fashioned with nice shops. Good clubbing too
