It was good, obviously not the same as usual freshers but it gave a chance to meet new people and others in your course and get a sense of the new style of learning There is no accommodation at the far borough college of technology. I stay at home and travel back and forth there The library is really good, there's lots of resources and you can take the books out of the library. There are also laptops and computers available. The classrooms are also really big which is good and makes it feel more comfortable. There's a good cafe and a Costa coffee!! The fact that there are less people in the classroom enable you to get the help needed. The teachers are always willing to help. The courses are also very challenging which is quite good as it means you gain new skills. The town in farnborough is very small and more like a village so I don't really explore there that much. I go to town to eat but not to do anything else

I attended for 2 years in total, including during Covid lockdowns. I have an EHCP for severe learning difficulties. I did not receive the provision that the college was legally obliged to provide me with. The SENCo (Mary Campbell) openly discriminated against me and the principle (Virginia Barrett) sent a letter to my parents telling them that I would not be allowed to return to college if I did not do lateral flow tests or where a mask (both of which I was exempt from having to do). This is illegal. There is a severe lack of SEN provision at this college. Lots of other students have said that they have had the same experience.
