The University has received an overall rating of Gold, as well as securing a Gold award in the frameworks two new student experience and student outcomes categories. <br/><br/><br/>**About the Course**<br/>You’ll study civil engineering subjects, such as structures, hydraulics, geotechnics, construction materials, mathematics and surveying. You’ll also study the design and construction of sustainable infrastructures, focusing on water engineering, transport, highway and the energy sector. <br/><br/>You’ll work in specialist laboratories, including concrete, hydraulics, materials, soils and structures, and experience real-life scenarios through site visits and field trips. <br/><br/>Practical work includes surveying, model-making, engineering drawing and computer-aided design.
