Liverpool John Moores University

Stayed at Grenville street accommodation for first year, was a really quiet accommodation and good for students who don't like partying every night. Second year staying at Kensington and find it quieter than people assume and feels a lot safer with more families than expected. Studying law with criminal justice and find every lecturer so far extremely helpful and friendly, any issues I have are solved by contacting my personal tutor in a friendly way.

I theoughly enjoy my course as it is interesting and i like all the people who are in it. The lecturers are very nice and extremely helpful. although i do wish i was in class more often as i get bored only being in 2 days per week.

Very welcoming with lots of information available to the university and social clubs My accommodation was very clean complete with accessible equipment with helpful members of staff on site 24/7 At first some places were hard to find which was kind of overwhelming, but given some time everything was easily accessible and it became home from home Very informative lectures setting you up for success and meeting classmates was definitely the bonus City life was amazing with so many events to go to and places to explore.

It's a new and wonderful experience and LJMU didn't get voted uni of the year for nothing!

So far my university experience has been great. I have made plenty of friends and took part in the many activities that the university has to offer.

Freshers week 2019 was very interesting and engaging, I got to meet lots of new people and explore the city My accommodation was amazing, everything was perfect and I was lucky to have amazing flat mates too All the facilities were very accessible and easy to use if necessary The course was so interesting and I learned a lot more than what I thought I would Liverpool is an amazing city with lots to do- especially for students!

so far i've really enjoyed University here at Liverpool, the lectures are informative and well structured and the nightlife in Liverpool is amazing. As a first year, i felt welcomed into the university and was made aware of all the support available which is great. LOVE IT

My freshers week in liverpool was amazing. I met so many new people and as it was last year we were able to go out and have fun! I am so glad I didn't take a gap year and this would be my first year. It would not be ideal having to meet new people over zoom calls. My accommodation is located in the city centre and it is so close to many shops and restaurants. It is nice to also have a walk down to the docks and not have to get public transport. The opportunities are endless. The facilities at my university are amazing. Such good support from everyone even during a pandemic. I am so glad I chose John moores university. My course has so many opportunities for the students. The lectures when we were in the rooms were good as we had breaks and were not cramped together. Although sometimes it would get too hot/too cold. Liverpool is an amazing city. I am so glad I came here. It is not too far away from my home in north wales either - which is another reason why I chose it. There are so many students in the city that are in the same situation as you. You're never alone.

The staff are all kind and really care about the welfare of the students, there is so much going on all the time and me and my mates love the free lunches at the student life building. My course is fun and interesting and i am yet to be bored!

Freshers week is amazing in liverpool there are so many activities and so much to do. The gym is massive and many accommodation have gyms in them aswell which is really handy. The staff at my accommodation (Byrom Point) are so lovely always giving out treats and samples and things for our mental health which is so lovely.

It was the best experience anyone could've ever had. The people and the atmosphere in liverpool is just amazing. Definitely the best city to socialise and study. The landlord is there for you whenever you need her. The people in the accommodation are all friendly. It is located in a nice and safe area. The library is spacious and the librarians are there to always help. Classrooms are fully equipped. Student union are always there if needed. It is very specific and in detail about each module. The lectures were delivered so that they were fun and entertaining and not boring. The city life here is the best I've experienced because there is so much to see and everyone is so kind to one another.
