(5)·By Jordan W·Architecture· Jul 2021 it was very eventful, we did lots of activities especially as it was pre-covid. I did not participate in all activities the course was already so demanding of the bat which was not ideal although that was a commitment i wanted to take to pass my course. Most of events would be held by our halls (each day varying themes) then we would go to the main union club (also note loughbourgh freshers week last for two weeks so it's so fun) The accomodation is really good, there is lots of options differing in prices or facilities provided either you want a room with an ensuite or shared or to have it catered or not. The room sizes depend on the money you want to spend. But in all it's a really high standard loughbourgh university sets. The facilities are really good, especially with sports, with two main gyms and countless pitches and courts. The library is huge with many work spaces, lots of staff members to help, To add the student union is good class, during the day it's a nice social hub to chat with friends but during the night it's a huge night club with three main rooms separating with music taste. the course is good as loughbourgh architecture is very helpful and organised with the timeline and timetable which best suits us students, it's very hands on and one on one where the teacher student ratio is very good as architecture school is one of the smallest. The lectures are really good especially with covid, they are so organised in setting a like rotational timetable with people in each cohort splitting them into A and B, to attain covid restrictions. The city life is not great, very boring and dull, nothing to do really. However, the vibrancy of the campus really does make up for it.
