Peterborough Regional College

It's been really good! I enjoy ever day and have made lots of new friends! All of my teachers have worked in the media industry so they know exactly what they are talking about and can give us advice about what it is like in the real world! I love my course and I am exited to have a career in my subject!

Freshers week was fun, met new friends it was amazing It's always nice rooms, cheap and spacious but the scenery is not as good though They were pretty good, safe and in good condition The fun practical work and getting to know things a bit more further It's alright not the best but it could do with more government funding and looking after

My experience is an enticing one, of which I study Forensic and Analytical science that is rather interesting and provides a wide range of information at a high level.

I study beauty therapy L2 n it was good.Really good.Good there’s even a gym for all students to access.Told u everything u needed to know.Alright I grew up here.Must put effort into it and there is a lot and uniform to buy

Quite boring. The uni is small so there wasn't much to do, and the options that were available were quite dull. Not what you would expect for a freshers week. There is only a very small area of houses for accommodation and most people don't stay in accommodation, they just commute from home as most live nearby. So I can't say much about the accommodation as I've never seen it and don't even know where it is. We have to share the library with the college so the university does not have their own library. So our facilities as a university are virtually non existent, everything is shared with the regional college except a small number of classrooms. There's not many people so you get more 1:1 opportunities with lecturers. On the other hand, we have barely any guest lecturers or opportunities of that kind because we are so small. The course is somewhat interesting but the modules changed at the last minute making it far less interesting. It's Peterborough, so if anything it just feels dangerous. Not exciting, to be honest, and there isn't much of a student city life since nobody really lives in accommodation. Very dull overall. Not a uni ‘experience'.
