(2)·By Niamh T·Forensic Science· Jul 2021 Quite boring. The uni is small so there wasn't much to do, and the options that were available were quite dull. Not what you would expect for a freshers week. There is only a very small area of houses for accommodation and most people don't stay in accommodation, they just commute from home as most live nearby. So I can't say much about the accommodation as I've never seen it and don't even know where it is. We have to share the library with the college so the university does not have their own library. So our facilities as a university are virtually non existent, everything is shared with the regional college except a small number of classrooms. There's not many people so you get more 1:1 opportunities with lecturers. On the other hand, we have barely any guest lecturers or opportunities of that kind because we are so small. The course is somewhat interesting but the modules changed at the last minute making it far less interesting. It's Peterborough, so if anything it just feels dangerous. Not exciting, to be honest, and there isn't much of a student city life since nobody really lives in accommodation. Very dull overall. Not a uni ‘experience'.
