At the forefront of a number of scientific and medical discoveries, the Institute is one of the largest of its kind in the UK. <br/><br/>The Barts Cancer Institute, often called BCI, has over 100 research students undertaking PhD or MD Res degrees. These students carry out an original research project in one of our Institute laboratories atCharterhouse Square campus. There are a wide variety of funding oportunites available, including research grants, college studentships and international scholarships.
