MA Acting for Stage, Screen and Recorded Media MA

We offer an exceptional environment in which to pursue a professional acting course. Our established teaching team is made up of highly experienced professional practitioners, who will help you develop the physical and emotional resources to enable you to respond to the wide ranging demands of the contemporary acting profession. We design our programme to equip you with the full range of knowledge and skills you need to succeed in theatre, film, television and radio.

Our course bridges the gap between a degree in other subjects – or previous acting experience – and the standard expected by the theatre, TV, film and recorded media industries.

You will develop the intuitive, intellectual and empathic qualities that drive you to perform at the highest levels of artistic practice.

Practical studio and rehearsal-based training with experienced practitioners is at the heart of this programme, which will beand is supported by regular opportunities to work with visiting specialists and directors.

You will have a combination of core acting methods, and physical and vocal skills classes, which you will then explore and put into practice in projects on naturalistic and heightened text, audio and screen performance.
