Students work directly with organisations including McKinsey, the NHS and KPMG as part of their studies, tackling challenges in AI, climate and inequality with methods that no single discipline could provide alone.
LIS was the first institution in over 50 years to open in the UK with its own degree-awarding powers from inception. With faculty from Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard, and graduates going on to found companies, shape policy and build careers that didn't exist when they enrolled, LIS has built the type of education for those who want to shape the world, not just fit into it.
