The London Interdisciplinary School (LIS)

The most complex problems facing society don't fit neatly into a single discipline. At the London Interdisciplinary School (LIS), our three MASc (Master of Arts & Sciences) programmes are built around that belief.

Choose from the MASc in AI & Collective Intelligence, Education Futures, or Complex Systems and Problems, across a range of study modes. All three combine rigorous quantitative methods, including data science and coding, with qualitative approaches like linguistics and visual media, and culminate in an independent Capstone research project.

Our faculty come from leading institutions, including Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard, and many also run companies or hold positions in government, keeping the curriculum grounded in real-world practice.

All students access the LIS Network, a community of 200+ organisations committed to tackling complex problems, alongside one-to-one career coaching and specialist support.
