Job Prospects

Job Prospects

dBs graduates have gone on to work in every area of the sound, music and creative industries – from performing around the world, engineering at the top studios, to sitting on the board of directors at specialist audio companies.

Beyond simply supporting students in breaking into the industry, however, dBs also equips them with the skills and confidence to leave their mark upon it. The institute’s dedicated employability and engagement officer devotes their time to seeking out opportunities, jobs, internships and work placements, whilst also building relationships between dBs and other organisations within the industry. Students receive 1-2-1 career coaching, interview techniques, CV writing, job application support and much more.

Alongside their studies, dBs students also have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of real-world projects via their creative audio company, dBs Pro. For every brief the studio takes on, students are offered the opportunity to apply for roles and/or commissions within the project.
