Access to HE Diploma

Pass Access Course with an overall mark of 70% for year 1 entry. Science/Science & Technology/Construction or Engineering subject. Other Access courses will be considered with an overall mark of 75% and 70% in Maths module.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Pass overall BTEC QCF Extended Diploma with overall grade D*DD. Subjects Construction, Engineering, Land Use and Surveying and Land Administration. Applicants who are not offering any of the above subjects the requirement is D*D*D.

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

128 UCAS Tariff Points to include a minimum of 4 subjects at Higher Level and 1 subject at Ordinary Level. Higher Level subjects must include one grade H3 from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Physics/Chemistry, Biology, Construction or Engineering. The overall profile must also include English at minimum H6 Higher Level or O4 Ordinary Level. Applicants not offering the above subjects the requirement is 144 UCAS Tariff Points to include a minimum of 4 subjects at Higher Level grade H3 and 1 subject at Ordinary Level. The overall profile must also include English and Mathematics at minimum H6 Higher Level or O4 Ordinary Level.

GCSE/National 4/National 5

GCSE Profile to include grade C in English and C in Mathematics. Please note that for the purposes of entry to this course the Level 2 Certificate in Essential Skills Application of Number is NOT regarded as an acceptable alternative to GCSE Maths.
