This programme is designed to provide healthcare educators and other healthcare professional trainers with the knowledge and skills to design, develop and facilitate effective simulation training and education.<br/><br/>Suitable for all health care professionals with an interest or involvement in delivering training and education, the main aims of this programme are to provide you with:<br/><br/><br/>- an understanding of the principles of adult learning and how they can be applied to multidisciplinary health care simulation training<br/>- an understanding of the evolution, variety and importance of human factors in healthcare practice<br/>- the knowledge and skills required to design, develop and facilitate simulation training<br/>- the debriefing skills required to aid learners subsequent reflection and development<br/><br/><br/>Simulation is becoming increasingly prevalent as a tool for teaching and learning in health care because it provides a safe environment in which students can develop clinical skills and non-technical skills via guided debriefing.
