Psychology / Criminology, Year 2

It was amazing there was never a day where you had nothing to do, it was full of socialising, making new friends, going out and having a good time. I couldn't have asked for a better freshers experience I met so many friends that I will know for life and made so many memories that I'll cherish forever. I lived in halls of residence for my first year and second year and I can't fault the accommodation. It's very affordable pricing and the rooms are always clean and fresh and spacious enough and you are provided with your own en-suite where I stayed which is good. I always use the library and it is so useful it has a very large space with computers on around 3 floors and pod rooms where you can study on your own in a quiet area or in a group. I use the student union sometimes but not often but it is really good it even has its own bar which is good for socialising and the drinks and food are lovely. I love my course!! I study psychology, I was originally about to start university studying philosophy but had a change of heart and I'm glad I decided to go through with it. The course is so engaging even the lectures and even the 9am's are worth getting up for, it is such an interesting topic and the tutors really help guide you in the right direction. When thinking of studying in preston I didn't really think much about the city life as its only a small city. There are few clubs but the city life is still so good the clubs are always packed and good music and the drinks are pretty cheap which is good when you're a student.

Absolutely amazing! All the teachers are friendly and open minded. The university offers all kinds of support for everyone and is the perfect place to study and get a higher education. They also offer a wide range of activists to expand your CV for your potential future dream job.

The course is really good and is bps accredited there is always stuff to do around town and with the university. most lecturers support students well and offer guidance to get the best grades they can. The su is also very good as it offers many facilities such as cheap swimming. There are a lot of clubs and societies on offer such as Harry Potter society. The accommodation providers are really good value for money and care about their students, the best accommodation provider is kexgill by far!

Drama, Year 2

Freshers week was really exciting as there's was a lot going on both in the uni and outside of it, this was good as it kept me busy during the first few weeks living away from home for the first time I loved my accommodation it was perfect for me and what I needed The facilities at the uni are extremely useful and can benefit anyone from any course with a large library offering different services, a amazing gym with both great equipment and even classes and so much more My course lecturers have always been extremely supportive and caring which is amazing considering most of us are away from home and can have difficult times when at uni. However they also know how to push you to achieve the best I loved city life as it was a huge change from living in a small town, it offered so many more new experiences and gave me so many more options

Medicine, Year 1

Freshers week was awesome. There were so many activities to do and I loved meeting with so many people from different cultures and backgrounds.. Accommodation is amazing. Comfortable beds and also they are close to the campus.. Everything especially the library are really good.. Mostly interactive and sometimes they teach you in small groups to help you understand content better.. Going out in the city is a great way to interact with people from many different backgrounds as there are lots of international people that come to uclan. Also people in the city are very friendly. Also very relaxing as we have a park that is huge with excellent views.. Be open to meet different types of people that you may hace never met before in your life.

It was great, lots of vouchers and offers. It was advertised throughout campus and emails sent to notify of things happening I rented private with some people I knew The library was fantastic, 24/7 with fantastic access to everything needed The course was interesting and challenging, the activities pushed me out of by comfort zone Preston is an okay city, great for night life but not that m if h around during the day

My personal University experience has been incredible. I hated College and was anxious about uni at first, but it has blessed me with so many things. I have met so many amazing people that I get call friends and enjoy my studies, I wouldn't change it for the world!
