Ensuring the future workforce is prepared to meet the challenges of modern healthcare means we need experts in medical education to help shape practice.<br/><br/>At the Centre for Medical Education, founded over 40 years ago by world-renowned Professor Ronald Harden OBE, we help medical educators reach their goals, and ensure theyre prepared to train the workforce of the future.<br/><br/>Our wide-ranging curriculum fits around you and your working life, whether youre new to teaching and training, or wish to advance existing skills and knowledge. We offer three qualifications – a Masters in Medical Education (MMEd), a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), so you can choose which level you want to complete.<br/><br/>Whatever level you decide to study to, youll start with two core modules: Learning & Teaching in Medical Education and Principles of Assessment in Medical Education. These will give you a strong overview of the core concepts of medical education, and are the perfect foundation to build your knowledge on.<br/><br/>Youll then choose from a range of optional modules to gain a qualification that fits you and your goals. For the masters course, you will also complete a dissertation on a topic relevant to your needs and interests. <br/><br/>We also offer specialist PGCerts for those teaching in anaesthetics, dentistry, general practice, oncology, radiology, simulation, and surgery.
