(4.8)·By Dee M·Nursing· Jul 2021 Freshers week was enjoyable. We had a nice induction to get to know a few of the people also taking the courses, and generally the campus was of a calm environment - not too busy, and everyone was friendly. Accommodation wise, I'd say the standard was very high. I did rent out my own apartment so I cannot speak much on the shared environment, but the facilities were great, clean and spacious. Overall I had no complaints, other than issues with the water pressure from time to time. The facilities were most certainly the best aspects of the university's campus. There were plenty of areas to socialise, study and take time off to enjoy the open air and scenery. The library is huge, and there are plenty of stores such as Subway (which I am a regular at) where you can order food. Their in-house restaurant also serves great quality food. The course lectures were super interactive. I hear some of my other peers who attend different universities constantly complain about the lack of one to one tutoring they receive, but mentors were always ready to answer my questions and support me. City life could be overwhelming at times due to being located in one of the most populated areas of Northampton, but being near to the town's city centre was great: rarely did one ever feel isolated, there was always something to do and I could easily get groceries and other necessities to bring back to my accommodation.
